Service User Information: First Appointment

Once you have made an appointment with Health in Mind you will be contacted at the agreed time via the agreed method.

1. How will I be contacted?

Telephone appointments - If you booked a telephone appointment our team will call you on the phone number provided. This call will be from a withheld number.

Online appointments - If you booked an online appointment our team will see you on the platform called Attend Anywhere. The link was sent to you by email and / or letter and can be found below.

The link remains the same for the time that you are receiving support from Health in Mind. For more information about our video appointments visit our Attend Anywhere Page.

Face to face/venue specific - If you booked a venue specific appointment please go to that venue, details would have been provided in your confirmation letter.

If you do not have any of these details please call 0300 00 30 130 or email SPNT.healthinmind@nhs.net to make the appointment.

2. I want to change my appointment from telephone to video

If you would like to change your appointment from telephone to video please email SPNT.healthinmind@nhs.net

3. Who will I be speaking with

You will be speaking a member of the clinical team. Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know you and a member of the clinical team will review the following;

  • Your personal details
  • What you would like support with
  • Options that may help so they can review what the best support might be
  • Next steps

The clinical team member will either be a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), counsellor or CBT/PWP trainee or Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner.

Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust is a training organisation therefore your appointment could be with a clinician in training.

4. Ideas for how to prepare for your appointment once you have booked it

  • If you can please complete any questionnaires that we will send to you via the patient portal. This link will be sent to you via text and will include your PIN number to access the portal. You do not need to do this to attend your first appointment
