Are you OK?
The symptoms of anxiety or low mood are not easy to spot.
If you can relate to any of these statements, it might be time to get in touch with us.
How do I know if I need help?
Of the thousands of referrals we receive each year, many are from people who don’t know what is wrong. They only know that their life is not enjoyable.
We often find people have waited several months or even longer before making contact. We encourage people to identify symptoms and make a referral sooner. Tackling issues at an earlier stage means quicker access to treatment and can prevent symptoms worsening.
We know it takes courage to talk with someone about how you’re feeling. We offer a safe space where you can do that.
What we offer
COVID-19 Changes
In response to the COVID-19 crisis the Health in Mind service has had to make some changes to how we do things. Our main priority is keeping everyone safe.
Whilst the majority of our sessions are delivered remotely either over the telephone or online, we are now able to discuss offering face to face appointments where necessary.
Most importantly, we encourage you not to wait in asking for our help. Our waiting times are short (currently 82% of people start working with one of our team within 6 weeks, with many of those within 2-3 weeks.) Our team is ready to help you make positive changes and be your guide to better mental health.
You don't need to know what option might be best. Our trained professionals will work with you to identify and agree what's going to be best for your situation. But here are some of the things we do...
